Ingredients
½ cup cream cheese
½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
12 jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise, seeds and membranes removed
12 slices bacon
Directions
- Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C). Use aluminum foil to cover a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese and cheddar cheese and stir until well combined. Fill the cheese mixture into each side of the jalapeo. Reassemble the halves, then enclose each stuffed pepper with a piece of bacon. Peppers wrapped in bacon should be placed on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 to 35 minutes in a preheated oven or until bacon is crispy.
