Ingredients
2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces
¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ½ cups beef broth
4 medium carrots, sliced
3 medium potatoes, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon ground paprika
1 clove garlic, minced
1 large bay leaf
Directions
- Add the meat to the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, stir together the flour, salt, and pepper. Stir the meat after pouring the sauce over it.
- Stir in the beef broth, along with the carrots, potatoes, onion, celery, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, garlic, and bay leaf.
- On Low for 8 to 12 hours or on High for 4 to 6 hours, cover and cook the meat until it can be sliced with a spoon.
