1 ½ pounds ground beef
1 egg
1 onion, chopped
1 cup milk
1 cup dried bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
⅓ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons prepared mustard

- Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan very lightly.
- In a sizable bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, milk, bread crumbs, and egg. Add salt and pepper to taste. Place inside the prepared loaf pan.
- In a small dish, thoroughly combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard; pour over the meatloaf and evenly distribute.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately an hour, or until the middle is no longer pink.
